Profile Requirements

Must have:

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Excellent portfolio of own design work
• Good understanding of brand and typography
• Experience in design of information based and content driven websites
• Creative thinking and ability to think 'outside of the box'
• Good User Interface design and knowledge of navigation strategies
• Understanding of web technologies and W3C standards and their impact on design
• Confident in front of the client
• Ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines (this does not mean late nights!)
• Understanding of accessibility issues in relation to web design

Desirable to have:

• Experience of Flash design
• Ability to contribute positively to creative brainstorms including ideas for viral campaign ideas, brand identities, straplines and jingles
• Experience of print design

Bonus to have:

• XHTML and Javascript coding
• Flash action scripting
• Interest in and awareness of new technologies and their impact on design

Software experience:

We would expect you to have good working knowledge of:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Macromedia Fireworks
• Illustrator
• MS Office

It would be useful if you have experience of:

• Macromedia Flash
• Macromedia Dreamweaver

It would be a bonus if you have experience of

• Quark
